introduction is clipped, with but the last nineteen seconds remaining. The introduction is
further compromised by occasional distortion attributable to a variation in tape speed. The
first two lines of the first verse of Gotta Serve Somebody enjoy similar glitches. Gotta Serve
Somebody is followed by Dylan's brief acceptance speech. To whit: "I, I didn't expect this and
want to thank the Lord for it and, most likely I want to also thank Jerry Wexler, Barry Beckett
who believed in it. So I thank you."
