Television Broadcast. Jack Nicholson makes a few introductory remarks which are followed by a collage of audio and video clips. Olaf Bjorner, in his Chronicle for 1991, attributes " ... an unseen sequence from Eat The Document (Ballad Of A Thin Man) ..." to the collage. In spite of repeated viewings I have been unable to locate such a clip. It is conceivable that what was aired abroad differs from that which aired on American television. After the collage, Jack Nicholson introduces Dylan and Dylan then performs Masters Of War. Jack Nicholson then presents the award and Dylan follows with a brief acceptance speech. Dubbed 10/29/97.
