The Library has two audience recordings.
The first is a very good mono recording. Chris, the taper, wrote: "recorded from the 14th row, stage left. ... I know that a stereo DAT exists of this show, because I spotted someone three seats away with a DAT and stereo mikes taping the show as well." There's a bit of sporadic feedback during Cocaine Blues, which is also evident on the second recording. Clean, complete, and problem free. Thanks again, Chris. Dubbed 08/08/98. 110 min.
The second is a fair, if a bit muddy, stereo recording. A rather ragged tape; compromised by rough edits, fluctuating recording levels, and some feedback. There's a rough edit between Silvio and Love Minus Zero/No Limit that results in the clipping of the first second or two of the latter; another between Love Minus Zero/No Limit and Tangled Up In Blue with similar effects. The recording level also plummets dramatically (by about 3db) after the edit (at the beginning of Tangled Up In Blue).Dubbed by JO 09/??/97. 110 min.
