The Library has two recordings.
The first is a pretty good stereo audience recording but is seriously compromised by a good bit of audience chatter, embellished with juvenile outbursts, and plagued with dropouts. The volume fluctuates at the outset, but stabilizes within a minute or so. There's are significant dropouts during Tangled Up In Blue, To Ramona, Like A Rolling Stone, It Ain't Me Babe, and Alabama Getaway. Other dropouts or rough edits occur between sets. Source unknown. NDBM. 110 min.
The second is a good, but incomplete, audience recording. The first six sets (Maggie's Farm, Be Not A Stranger, Cold Irons Bound, Under The Red Sky, Can't Wait, Silvio) are missing. Robert, the taper, wrote: "i recorded it on the same recorder as the hunnington show [11/05/97 which was recorded by his brother, Paul] but i sat in the back of the auditorium so it wouldn't be as distorted ..." In a note included with the tape, Robert went on to say: "There are a few glitches in This Wheel's On Fire and at the end of It Ain't Me Babe. This was my first recording." Dubbed 09/08/98. 90 min.
