The Library has two very good stereo audience recordings.
The first has a closed gap of less than a minute and a half. Otherwise, clean, complete, and problem free.
The following information was provided with the tape:
DAT machine: Sony TCD-D100
Microphones: Bruel & Kjaer DPA 4061 (attached to eye glasses facing forwards). Note: treble boosters and bass roll-offs were NOT used.
Where there are any imperfections of which you should be aware, they are detailed below.
Recorded from 12th row centre - ideal position! Approximately 1 minute 20 seconds is missing from the middle of "Rainy Day Women" due to D100 stalling. There is no audible gap.
A very nice tape! Expertly dubbed from DAT by anonymous 06/??/98. 100 min.
The second is missing the last set (Blowin' In The Wind) and is further compromised
by a single clipped set. The recorder, who wishes to remain anonymous, writes:
"...the London show was recorded on a Sharp MD-702 minidisc recorder using Core
Sound binaural mics (battery-box version with no bass-rolloff) attached to my
eyeglasses facing forward. My position at the Wembley Arena was in the 12th row in
front of the right hand side of hanging bank of speakers. The 74-minute minidisc
ran out at the end on Till I fell in love with you (the last song before the
encores) so that song is cut. Apart from that it should be OK."
Another very nice tape! Expertly dubbed from the minidisc Master by anonymous 08/04/98. 100 min.
