A very rough audience recording, compromised by fluctuating levels; occasional distortion; and a couple of destructive edits. The volume is rather low from the outset and fluctuates throughout the recording. A few seconds into Gotta Serve Somebody the sound becomes quite muffled (My guess is that the microphones or recording device were secreted to avoid detection.) and doesn't clear up until midway through Watching The River Flow. Thereafter, it get quite hot at times and suffers from bass overload. The consequent distortion is most evident during Silvio, The Times They Are A-Changin', Highway 61 Revisited, and Maggie's Farm. The signal then plummets immediately after Don't Think Twice, It's All Right. Edits fall between virtually every song. There are two destructive edits (the first, between My Blue Eyed Jane and It's All Over Now, Baby Blue, clipping the beginning of the latter; the second, after Times They Are A-Changin' clips the beginning of Tangled Up In Blue. I have smoothed the edits and boosted the signal (by 9db!) on Not Fade Away. Thanks, Bernie! Dubbed 11/15/99. 100 min. Request 9902071.
