The Library has two audience recordings.
The first is a rather rough recording. The tape received from Bradley, the taper, had very, very low levels (-30db to peaks at -20db). I have digitally boosted the signal on the CD-R master and have additionally EQed the analog Master aggressively. Nevertheless, a good bit of noise remains and the overall effect is a rather strident listen. The last few seconds of Tangled Up In Blue are clipped. Thanks, Bradley! Dubbed 05/04/99. 100 min. The second is a very good stereo recording but suffers from a few glitches. There's the occasional rubbed or bumped microphone, the most conspicuous falling near the end of Love Minus Zero/No Limit. Tangled Up In Blue breaks up near the end and is clipped. The CD-R source has a two second gap (which I have closed on the Library's Masters) between Ballad Of A Thin Man and Highway 61 Revisited, the beginning of which is clipped. Otherwise, clean, complete, crisp, and problem free. Thanks, Spencer! Dubbed 11/02/99. 100 min. Request 9902132.
