The Library has two stereo audience recordings.
The first is a pretty good, but incomplete, recording, compromised by a bit of tape hiss, the occasional bumped microphone, a dropout, and a fair bit of obtrusive audience chatter. There's a dropout midway through It Ain't Me, Babe. The recording begins with Don't Think Twice, It's All Right and ends with It Ain't Me, Babe (O Babe, It Ain't No, Lie, My Back Pages, The Sound Of Silence, I Walk The Line/Blue Moon Of Kentucky, and Knockin' On Heaven's Door are missing.). The source tape, from which the Library's Masters were made, was, at one time, most likely taken from CD-R (each song is separated by a two second gap, typical of a CD-R that was burned without using Disc At Once). I have closed said gaps as well as the afore mentioned dropout. Dubbed 08/17/99. 90 min. Request 9906251.
The second is a sterling recording, compromised only by a rough edit (tape flip?). The edit falls between It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry and Highway 61 Revisited, clipping the last second or two of the latter. Otherwise, clean, complete, crisp, and problem free. Thanks, Bob! Dubbed 11/12/99. 100 min. Request 9906252.
