The Library has two audience recordings.
The first is a pretty good recording, compromised by some background noise, a destructive tape flip, and a good bit of obtrusive audience chatter. I've mitigated much of the background noise with rather aggressive use of a Graphic Equalizer whilst preparing the analog Masters. Bradley, the taper, wrote: "lots of audience chatter. more prevalent at the beginning of the show and quite obtrusive at times. this show resembled a county fair gone awry, lots of fun but produced a rough recording. ... i used my traditional sony walkman. therefor, the levels are rather low." The beginnings of All Along The Watchtower and Tryin' To Get To Heaven are clipped. Otherwise, complete and problem free. Bradley very kindly lent the Library his Master tape. Thanks, Bradley! Dubbed 07/19/99. 110 min. Request 9907031.
The second is a fair recording, compromised by good bit of hiss, a couple of destructive tape flips, and an awful lot of obtrusive audience chatter and revelry. I've mitigated much of the hiss with rather heavy handed use of a Graphic Equalizer whilst preparing the analog Masters. Paul, the taper, wrote: "As I stated, this is my first recording, so the quality isn't great (nor is my restraint for screaming)." Destructive tape flips fall between Don't Think Twice, It's All Right and Masters Of War and Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again and Make You Feel My Love, resulting in the clipping of the last second or two of Don't Think Twice, It's All Right and Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again. Otherwise, complete and problem free. Paul very kindly sent the Library his three Master tapes. Thanks, Paul! Dubbed 11/11/99. 110 min. Request 9907032.
