A pretty good, but a tad hot, stereo audience recording, compromised by occasional bass overload with attendant distortion and some low frequency clipping. The tape from which the Library's Masters were taken suffered from very low levels (peaks at -10 db) and a fair bit of tape hiss. I have boosted the levels (peaks at +3 db) on the CD-R Masters and aggressively EQed the analog Master to mitigate, but not eliminate, the hiss. The source tape was also quite slow and Library Masters have been speed corrected (+ 5%). In spite of the above, it's still a nice listen if you can shut out the juvenile exuberance, expressed vociferously and with annoying frequency, that apparently could not be contained by a lout in close proximity to the taper. His lamb like bleating is particularly offensive from Love Sick, onward. Otherwise, clean, complete, and problem free. Thanks Bernie! Dubbed 09/28/99. 110 min. Request 9907111.
