The Library has two audience recordings.
The first is a pretty good, but a tad hot, stereo recording, compromised by occasional bass overload with attendant distortion and low frequency clipping. Rain drops are occasionally audible throughout, but are most evident during interludes between songs. Otherwise, clean, complete, and problem free. Thanks EDLIS! Dubbed 09/22/99. 100 min. The second is a pretty good recording, compromised by a couple of destructive edits and occasional obtrusive audience chatter. The first destructive edit falls between Knockin' On Heaven's Door and Hallelujah, I'm Ready To Go, clipping the first few seconds of the latter. The second, between It's All Over Now, Baby Blue and Rainy Day Women #12 & 35, yields similar results. Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 also suffers from some fluctuation in volume at the outset. There is a bit of tape speed fluctuation at the outset of The Sound Of Silence. Otherwise, clean, complete, and problem free. Travis, the taper, wrote: "The tapes were recorded on a GE cassette recorder. Virginia Beach and Raleigh were recorded very close to the stage." Thanks, Travis. Dubbed 11/05/99. 110 min.
